SUMMARY:
Lexdan Select is assisting a manufacturing company with there search for a Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic. Based in Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on corrugator and associated plant machinery.
Conduct mechanical fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
Repair, overhaul and replace mechanical components including:
Bearings
Gearboxes
Drive systems
Pneumatic systems
Hydraulic systems
Conveyor systems
Participate in planned shutdowns and maintenance scheduling.
Ensure minimal production downtime through efficient response to breakdowns.
Maintain maintenance records and job cards accurately.

Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Trade Test Certified)
Valid driver’s licence (Code 10 advantageous)
Minimum 3–5 years post-trade experience
Experience working in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments preferred
