Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Company Representative based in Cape Town. Some work-from-home is acceptable. The Company Representative will be responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships. providing technical support. and ensuring customer satisfaction. Tasks include managing customer accounts. conducing regular customer visits. delivering product presentations and providing training on product usage. Additionally, the role involves continual communication with customers to address their needs and concerns and collaborating with internal teams to enhance service quality.

Must have a passion for science and working with people / sales personality and motivated to reach sales targets. We are small and we don’t have a CRM and all the latest tools and systems so the person should be an independent worker with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Strong technical support and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Experience in the biotechnology or healthcare industry
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Proficiency in using office applications
• Bachelor''s degree in Lite Sciences. Biotechnology, or a related field
• Travel regularly to customer sites
• Al least 1 year experience in biotechnology sales
• BSC honours
• Life science experience with food technology background

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field)
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Proven experience in biotechnology research with a strong focus on Microbiology
• Sales experience, ideally within the biotech, chemical, or laboratory sector
• Willingness and ability to travel within South Africa as required
