JOB DESCRIPTION:

2.1 Background

IT department is looking for Outsourced desktop Support Services as per the following requirement:

2.2 Requirement

o 2 x Mid to Senior Desktop Support Engineer

o Mid Desktop Support Engineer

• Should be able to assist 500 End Users (in conjunction with Bestmed Medical Scheme Desktop Team)

• Should either Resource not be available due to leave or sickness, a replacement that is familiar with Bestmed Medical Scheme would be required to stand in

• Resource replacement in case of persistent poor performance

• Resource should have own or reliable transport

• Resources will be required to work in the following flexible hours based on a roster (07h00 – 16h00 and 08h00 – 17h00)

• Overtime and Travel will be required from time to time

• Fixed Monthly Cost Resource Billing

2.3 Resource Skill Requirements

• Mid to Senior Desktop Support Engineer

o Grade 12

o Desktop Technical related certifications

o Server Technical related certifications would be beneficial Be familiar with Windows 10 and Office 365 o Be familiar with Microsoft SCCM

o At least 3 – 5 years concurrent IT desktop support work Experience

• Mid Desktop Support Engineer

o Grade 12

o Desktop Technical related certifications would be beneficial

o Be familiar with Windows 10 and Office 365

o At least 2 - 3-year concurrent IT desktop support work Experience

2.4 Key Roles and Responsibilities

o Install and configure and troubleshoot new and existing equipment Install and maintain and troubleshoot general and other applications
