SUMMARY:
Our client, a multinational software development company that is growing rapidly, are looking for a Desktop/Installations Technician to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric;
A qualification in IT or Software Development;
Experience with Microsoft Server Platform;
A firm understanding of Network Infrastructures;
A+, N+ and/or MCITP or similar;
Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies; and
5 years experience in a similar position.

Main Responsibilities:

Installation and configuration of computer software and systems;
Identifying and solving problems that arise with computers;
Configuration of new systems;
Maintaining existing hardware and software; and
Providing Network and Desktop Support.

This position will be shift based:
Shift hours: 06:00 - 18:00 ; 18:00 - 06:00
Shifts will consist of 11 workable hours.
Shift allocation will be done on a rotation base between a team of three Technicians.
