SUMMARY:
My client is based in Bellville and they are looking for a Demand Planner to utilise analytical and sales data to forecast product demands. Key role will include inventory flow, planning space requirements, analysing stats data and generating forecasting solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Key requirements include:

2 to 3 years experience as a Demand Planner
Degreed
APICS certification preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with a solid understanding of their operational impacts

Key performance areas include:

Development of forecasts for multiple time horizons
Monitor space requirements and forecast space demands based on sales increase and procurement forecasts
Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as primary system
Provide input to the supply planning and production planning functions in developing inventory strategies on existing items and new products
Closely co-ordinate customer action plans with supply planning
Relationship building with relevant stakeholders
