SUMMARY:
JSE Listed company based in Kempton Park requires an experienced Debtors and Cashbook Clerk.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Matric essential
Financial / Accounting Certificate or Diploma will secure
Syspro computer literacy will be an advantage
Must have 3 to 5 years finance experience, emphasis on debtors and cashbook function
The following experience is required :-
Credit Applications and opening new customer accounts
Monthly statements, age analysis, collections, allocations and reconcile accounts
Check Credit and COD applications
Maintain COD Accounts by ensuring stock is not invoiced until payments are reflecting in the bank accounts
You will need to work closely with the Sales Department regarding credit application process and vetting of customers
Request remittance advises, reporting on a weekly basis to Finance Manager, allocate deposits to various customer accounts
Cashbook duties including, maintaining the cashbook, recording daily entries, both payments and receipts
