Our client is an established industry leader with a strong national footprint, known for excellence and innovation within the financial operations space. They are seeking a Debtors Manager to take ownership of the credit control function and ensure that cash flow remains steady and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the full debtors function to ensure timeous collections and accurate reconciliations.
Develop and implement strategies to recover outstanding debts and minimise financial risk.
Lead, mentor, and support the team of credit controllers, ensuring targets and deadlines are achieved.
Maintain accurate debtor records, approvals, and reconciliations across multiple branches and accounts.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries, approve credit applications, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Prepare and review monthly debtor age analysis reports, legal accounts, and cash flow reports.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Grade 12; a qualification in Credit Management or Finance will be advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar leadership position within a financial environment.
Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with Syspro is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical ability, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Proven track record in managing debtors, driving collections performance, and leading a successful team.
