Debtors Controller (contract) - Centurion, R 30 000

SUMMARY:
This high performance drive group is on the hunt for their next Debtors extraordinaire to join their newly merged group of companies on an initial 3 month contract

POSITION INFO:

The role will focus on debtors, invoicing & handling the cashbook. Looking for the incumbent to be hands on. Office management will also fall part of the role

The role will revolve from primarily working in the office & some days from home

Minimum requirements:

Essential:

• Matric
• Relevant Accounting / Bookkeeping / Office Management qualification
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Google Workspace (will need to be digitally savvy)
• Being able to interpret data proactively & visually - & advise internal & external clients
• of appropriate action to be taken

Advantageous:

• Sage One experience (not a make or break)

Responsibilities:

Finance:

• Manage debtors.
• Due diligence on all new debtor accounts.
• Completing of all vendor accounts.
• Requesting purchase order numbers.
• Ensure complete client information for invoicing purposes.
• Handling of client queries.
• Overseeing the hand-over of delinquent accounts to the collection attorneys & management of this process.

Office Management:

• Enforcing COVID-19 policy in office.
• Ordering & overseeing stationery, cleaning materials & office material.
• Maintenance of office - liaising with landlords & other suppliers.
• Managing the office cleaning lady.
• Managing of IT hardware & software, liaising with IT suppliers
