Debtors Accounts Assistant

SUMMARY:

Our client a growing wholesaler of kitchen and homeware quality products requires your finance debtors experience to join their team based in Killarney Gardens.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS
Matric WITH 3 – 5 years related financial experience
Knowledge of Excel, Word, Accounting systems (Xero and Dear advantageous)
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
Excellent attention to detail
Good verbal and written communicative skills in English
Ability to work independently
Good problem-solving skills
Team player – using initiative to assist where needed
Positive attitude and excellent attendance record
Flexibility to adapt to changes
 
DUTIES
Debt Collection
Daily liaise with debtors on all account queries
Weekly internal reporting on various Debtors Groups
Capture debtors’ receipts daily and settlement discounts
Capture e-commerce and related fees
E-mailing and uploading electronic debtors’ statements monthly / when required by the Customer
Timeous monthly submission of tailormade Customer specific reports
Credit Applications – opening and screening of new account applications
Issue credit notes within 48 hours of receipt of claim / return
Manage Credit Notes daily Report  
Issuing of and managing Gift Vouchers
Weekly Debtors Grouping
 
Salary: R10 – R15000 dependent on experience
