A leading Student Accommodation Property Management Company is looking for a highly organised and customer-focused professional to join its team in JHB North.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Property Management, Student Accommodation, Leasing Administration and Debtors, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service to tenants.
About the Role
As the Debtors & Leasing Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient administration of student leases, tenant accounts and debtors while maintaining excellent relationships with residents.
You will manage the full leasing administration process, oversee tenant accounts, assist with collections, process deposits and refunds, and provide outstanding customer service throughout the tenant lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Leasing Administration
- Prepare and administer lease agreements and tenant documentation
- Ensure all lease documentation is complete, accurate and filed correctly
- Capture lease information accurately on the property management system
- Process tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Manage room allocations and vacancy administration
Debtors Administration
- Allocate rental payments accurately
- Monitor rental collections and debtor ageing
- Prepare debtor ageing reports
- Follow up on outstanding rental payments
- Maintain healthy debtor balances across the portfolio
Tenant Relations
- Assist tenants with rental, maintenance, Wi-Fi and electricity queries
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Build positive relationships with residents
- Assist with enforcing residence rules and procedures
Financial Administration
- Generate monthly rent rolls
- Issue tenant statements
- Process deposit refunds and reconciliations
- Invoice tenants for damages, maintenance and additional charges
- Maintain accurate financial records
Property Administration
- Coordinate room inspections
- Process lease terminations
- Update occupancy records
- Work closely with the Operations and Property Management teams
- Ensure accurate reporting and administration
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience as a Debtors Administrator, Leasing Administrator or Property Administrator
- Experience within Property Management or Student Accommodation will be highly advantageous
- Strong Debtors and Credit Control experience
- Leasing Administration experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and administration accuracy
- Strong computer literacy
- Experience using MDA (MRI Property Central) will be highly advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
