SUMMARY:
A reputable meat processing company is seeking a Deboning Dispatch Supervisor to report to the Deboning Manager. This role is responsible for managing the dispatch of deboned meat products and leading a team to ensure efficient, high-quality operations.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team within the deboning dispatch department
• Ensure accurate stock control, including effective FIFO rotation practices
• Oversee the loading of delivery vehicles, ensuring correct weight distribution and safe, balanced loads
• Monitor, manage, and accurately record stock returns and any dispatch variances
• Ensure all orders are prepared with precision and dispatched on schedule
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, food safety, and overall operational compliance
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational requirements
• Communicate and report any operational challenges or concerns to the Deboning Manager

Minimum requirements:

• Proven experience within a meat processing, abattoir, or food production environment
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead teams in a dispatch or production setting
• Strong understanding of stock control procedures and effective stock rotation practices
• Skilled in the safe and efficient loading of trucks, ensuring correct weight distribution
• Experience managing stock returns and maintaining accurate dispatch documentation
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
