SUMMARY:
A well-established motor dealership in George is seeking to appoint an experienced and detail-oriented Dealership Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the dealership’s bookkeeping and financial administration functions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
• Processing and capturing financial transactions
• Managing debtors and creditors
• Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end and financial reporting
• Processing invoices, journals, and payments
• Maintaining accurate financial records and dealership documentation
• Assisting with payroll and general finance administration where required
• Reconciling vehicle stock and related financial transactions
• Ensuring compliance with dealership and company financial procedures
• Liaising with management regarding financial matters and reporting

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper
• Previous bookkeeping experience within a motor dealership environment is highly advantageous
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping will be beneficial
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
• Computer literate with experience on accounting and dealership systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
