Key Responsibilities:
- Operating underground LHDs to load, haul and dump ore and waste.
- Performing daily equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Adhering strictly to safety procedures and production targets.
- Reporting mechanical issues and safety hazards promptly.
- Working closely with underground teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid LHD Operator Certificate (MQA or DMRE-recognised)
- 2–3 years' underground mining experience, preferably in chrome or hard rock
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and in challenging underground conditions
