JOB DESCRIPTION:

One of South Africa’s well known real estate companies is currently looking for an analytical and creative Data Scientist to join their team. They are based in Cape-Town with a remote working module. They provide a great opportunity to learn new technologies while working on exciting projects.

Requirements:

Degree in Statistics or Data Science or related field.
At least 3 years experience in BI focussing on data science.
Active working experience with data mining, statistical analysis and mathematics.
Experience with Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms (boosting algorithms, clustering methods, and neutral works.
Great analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, insights and patterns from data.

Job & Company Description:

Ensure proactive identification of data improvement insights and opportunities and to the business.
Conduct verifying, processing, and cleansing, of the data used for analysis.
Responsible for creating algorithms and building predictive models that enhance products.
Use machine learning techniques to enhance the quality of data.
Create automated anomaly detection systems and ensure tracking of its performance.
