SUMMARY:
Financial Services company is looking for a skilled Graduate or Junior Data Scientist who is eager to apply data science in real-world financial contexts. Also be responsible for building models, automate insights, and contribute to data pipelines that support fraud detection and portfolio optimisation.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Collect, clean and prepare structured and instructured financial data.
Assist in preparing, cleansing and transforming data for the BI environment, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Create reports (PowerBI) to communicate finding to stakeholders.
Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure analytical outputs are relevant and actionable.
Contribute to internal automation, reconciliation and alerting tools to streamline operations.
Identify and propose improvements and efficiencies.

Education:

Bachelor degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or relevant.
Min 0 - 2 years of experience in data analysis
Technical experience in Python, PowerBI, SQL Queries
Understanding data pipelines, version control (GIT) and cloud (Advantage)
