SUMMARY:
Data Analyst: Logistics - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Objective of this Role:

vDevelops an Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets.

vCreate best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.

vEvaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.

vManages information to support corporate decision making.

vPerforms complex analyses.

vAnalyses problems and determines root causes.

vWorks closely with all business units to develop a strategy for long term forecasting.

Qualification & Skills Required:

vAdvanced analytical knowledge of data.

vConducting Data analysis.

vConducting Business analysis.

vBusiness process modelling - enterprise to department level.

vProcess oriented with great documentation skills.

vExcellent communication skills.

vAbility to function independently and be self-motivated.

vExcel & Database proficient.

Education & Experience Required:

vNational Senior Certificate (Non-Negotiable).

vQualification in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field (Preferred).

vThree+ years data analyst or related experience, including proficiency with analytical software or equivalent related education.

vProficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methods.

vDemonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, decision making, customer service, interpersonal relations, problem solving, teamwork & written communication.

vDemonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

vValid driver’s license.

vMust be fluent in Afrikaans & English.
