DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established, international organisation in the TRAVEL INDUSTRY to recruit a DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE to be based at their offices in DURBAN. Approximately R25 000 – R30 000 ctc, negotiable.

OUR CLIENT, ESTABLISHED OVER 50 YEARS AGO, PROVIDES UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAYS IN AFRICA AND SOUTH ASIA.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

A relevant qualification, an advantage.

Able to identify target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.

Able to develop, implement, track and optimise digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

Expertise in digital content marketing channels including SEO

Knowledge of one or more of the following tools - Mailchimp, Remarketing, Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram for Business.

Experience with photo editing and image creation using Adobe Photoshop.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong Excel skills.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.

Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.

Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience.

Design, build and maintain the social media presence.

Assess the success of campaigns against set goals (ROI and KPIs).

Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns.

Identify trends and insights and optimise spend and performance based on these insights.

Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.

Optimise user funnels

Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

Evaluate emerging technologies.

Working Hours During SA Summer:

11:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday with a one hour break for lunch.

11:00 – 16:00 alternate Saturdays with no break for lunch 

Not required to work on UK public holidays (10).

Will be required to work on SA public holidays.

Leave: 20 working days leave per a year.

Working Hours During SA Winter:

10:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday with a one hour break for lunch.

10:00 – 15:00 alternate Saturdays with no break for lunch 

Remuneration:

Approximately R25 000 to R30 000, negotiable.
