SUMMARY:
Our client a steel trading company requires an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

10 or more years recent experience is required to perform the full function of debtors on a large debtor’s book R150 million or more
Reliable transport
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
A stable work record and contactable references
Preferably a non- smoker
Able to work retails hours
A clear credit and criminal record
Strong collection and administrative skills
Computer literate on Syspro or similar and advanced experience on Excel (Spreadsheets)
Reside close to Germiston
Knowledge of CGIC
Good verbal and communication skills in English and Afrikaans

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashbook / Cash Flow
Annual Audits
Assist with admin duties
Filing and recordkeeping
Ensure that all payments are processed daily from bank accounts
Ensure that accounts remain in approved terms
Work closely with the Financial Manager and Directors
Submit weekly and reports
