Manager – Digital Risk & Information Security

What You’ll Be Doing
People & Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of digital security professionals, focusing on growth, knowledge-sharing, and accountability
- Foster a security-conscious culture across the organization by building strong partnerships and upskilling non-technical teams
- Manage relationships with key external security providers to support internal capability building and delivery
Strategic Advisory- Serve as a go-to advisor for senior business and IT leaders on matters of risk and information security
- Support the implementation of controls in areas such as access management, data protection, vendor due diligence, and awareness training
- Collaborate with threat monitoring teams to stay ahead of vulnerabilities and respond with agility
Execution & Enablement- Translate long-term digital risk goals into action plans, ensuring alignment between security priorities and business needs
- Contribute to the enhancement of policies, standards, and procedures — ensuring they remain practical, current, and scalable
- Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to stay resilient in an evolving landscape
Project Oversight- Drive the execution of key initiatives on the digital risk roadmap, balancing resource constraints and strategic priorities
- Manage budgets and forecasts effectively, ensuring delivery stays on track and value-driven
- Provide clear communication, updates, and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

- Business-savvy approach to risk, with an understanding of how to secure systems without creating barriers to progress
- Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and emerging risks with resilience and adaptability
Experience Needed- At least 8 years' relevant experience in digital risk, information security, or governance
- Prior experience managing or leading a small-to-medium sized team in a complex business or technical environment
- Working knowledge of security operations, risk frameworks, and industry standards
- Confident in delivering presentations, guiding strategic discussions, and creating engaging reports
- Relevant certifications in digital risk or information security are a plus, but practical, real-world experience is highly valued
