They are a tactical managed cyber security company operating across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, specialising in offensive security, threat exposure management and 24/7/365 incident response. They work with clients across industries including mining, healthcare, retail, logistics and manufacturing.

The Role
Our client is looking for an Intermediate Cyber Security Analyst – VAPT to join their Offensive Security / Managed Security Services team in Pretoria.
The successful candidate will conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across client systems, networks and applications, identify exploitable weaknesses and provide clear, actionable security findings.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct vulnerability assessments, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
Identify, validate and document security vulnerabilities and false positives.
Develop realistic attack paths and assess exploitable weaknesses.
Configure and maintain VAPT security tools and scanning policies.
Prepare clear technical reports and executive summaries.
Work with clients and internal teams on remediation.
Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, tools and techniques.
Continuously develop technical skills through practical labs and training.
Experience & Technical Knowledge

Experience with:
Tenable Nessus
Netsparker
Burp Suite
Kali Linux
Nmap
Metasploit
Rapid7 & Qualys
OSINT
VAPT methodologies and security testing.
Practical experience with Hack The Box and TryHackMe.
Exposure to ISO 9001 environments.

Qualifications
CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Security+
CompTIA PenTest+
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
