Customer Support Manager

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the mining equipment sector, known for their robust engineering solutions and global footprint in mineral processing technology. As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking a Customer Support Manager with strong technical and operational expertise in crushing, sorting, and mineral processing equipment, along with a solid background in aftermarket service and support.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage customer support operations across a designated region, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Provide expert technical support and advice to customers, particularly around mineral processing and crushing/sorting systems.
• Drive aftermarket sales and service initiatives, including spare parts, refurbishments, and maintenance contracts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, product support) to deliver timely solutions and resolve customer issues.
• Monitor equipment performance in the field and provide proactive support and insights.
• Build long-term client relationships and act as the key contact for all post-sales support activities.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and feedback to senior management on service performance and client needs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mining, or Process Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
• Proven experience in a customer support or service management role within the mining industry.
• In-depth knowledge of crushing, sorting, and mineral processing equipment is essential.
• Strong understanding of aftermarket services including parts, maintenance, and technical support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to lead and manage a service team in a dynamic, high-demand environment.
• Willingness to travel as required across mine sites and customer locations.
