Customer Business Solutions Specialist (IS Solutions Specialist) (Transport and Logistics)

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng  

Position Overview:

A highly sought-after transport and logistics company requires the services of a Customer Business Solutions Specialist.

The Customer Business Solutions Specialist will work in collaboration with the Regional Customer Business Solutions Manager and will assist with commercializing and implementing the company’s Global Business Solutions (IS Solutions) among customers.

The CBS Specialist will work within their specified perimeter and shall, take into consideration Commercial, Operational and IS constraints, to propose and implement a customer oriented optimized solution while using standard modules.

The CBS Specialist will also work in collaboration with the other CBS of the Division and the Business Solutions and Supply Chain AMOA Department of Corporate MIS.

Role Specific Functions:

• Design and Propose an Offer.

• Build Internal Monitoring Tools.
• KPI Reporting and Dashboards.
• System Gap Analysis.

• Alert / Inform Management.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed Degree in Information Systems.
• Extensive knowledge on Logistic Freight Forwarder Processes and supporting system landscapes.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with the ability of building Dashboards.
• Experience working with Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience with functional specifications for EDI and API integration.
• 3-5 Years of experience with Logistic Systems or other major Transport Management systems (TMS) products.
• Excellent English Proficiency.
