SUMMARY:
Have you got extensive experience managing the full creditors function in a high-volume environment? Our client is looking for a senior Creditors candidate to take on the role of Creditors team Lead at their continually growing national company. Responsible for managing the creditors team, ensuring effective and efficient processes and building relationships, this role is great for someone looking to step up their career.

POSITION INFO:

Participate in operational meetings and workshops
Build relationships through regular interactions with both finance and operations
Administer all tasks relating to invoices and statements
Resolution of discrepancies
Reconcile monthly statements
Administer and monitor purchase orders
Reconcile creditors statements
Update and maintain AP operating procedures
Maintain good levels of communication with all relevant parties
Management of the teams developments
Training where required and career planning of high performing individuals
Ensure purchase function is effective
Manage purchase transaction function
Review processes and ensure efficiency
Ensure PO’s are approved as per authority and process
Ensure all PO’s issued and receipted process completed for the applicable month
Effective management to reduce errors and disputes
Ensure the creditors function is effective and efficient through continuous review
Timely processing in line with month end deadlines and payments
Management of Creditors Accounts

Skills & Experience:
Senior Creditors experience
ACCPAC experience highly sought after
Back-to-front knowledge of Reconciliations
FMCG/ Manufacturing or Services industry experience in a high volume company
Staff management skills

Qualification:
Accounting diploma or qualification
Matric
