A well-established construction giant boasting with a national footprint seeks an experienced and driven Creditors Manager to join their finance team based in Midrand.

The purpose of this role will be to manage the creditors function and strenghtening the procure to pay process within the company.

The successful candidate must be able to operate under pressure, be energetic, fast and have meticulous attention to detail. Experience managing and overseeing large book values is highly important for this role.

Duties include but not limited to:

Managing the creditors team and ensuring targets are met

Maintaining creditors database

Monthly review of creditors and contractors age analysis

Monthly review of reconciliations

Maintaining and approving payments

Liaising with suppliers and negotiations

Review and sign off credit applications and leases

Education:

Grade 12 (Matric) with mathematics and accounting subjects

BCom in finance or accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5 to 6 years'' experience in a creditors / accounts payable role

1 to 2 years’ experience in a management role, managing a team of at least 3, is non-negotiable

Construction experience would be preferable

Buildsmart experience will be advantegeous

Strong full function creditors experience

Strong Excel skills

Strong reconciliation skills

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Work well under pressure

Deadline driven and results orientated

Good people skills and assertiveness

Team player
