SUMMARY:
Creditors Clerk – Pietermaritzburg (Fixed-term Contract)
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and deadline-driven Creditors Clerk who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices and maintain the Trust’s accounts payable system
Perform general bookkeeping duties
Maintain accurate financial records on accounting software
Complete cashbook reconciliations
Assist with month-end processes and reporting

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently studying towards a qualification)
2–3 years’ relevant experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE 300)
Strong Excel skills and overall computer literacy
Good organisational skills with accurate and timeous data capturing
Excellent analytical and reconciliation abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Must have own transport
