SUMMARY:
A Very successful property company based in Gauteng is looking for an Immediately available Creditors Clerk (Overheads) to join their team for a 6 month fixed Term Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications & skills:

Bookkeeping Diploma or Diploma in office Management
3+ years full function Creditors and Bookkeeping experience
Great Plains, Accounting Knowledge or any other Accounting software package experience
Understand age analysis of accounts and understand general ledger structures

Experience:

Uploading of payment batches on FNB online
Ensuring that timeous authorization of payments on FNB
Capturing authorized invoices relating to the respective divisions and payment of these invoices in accordance with company policy
Ensuring that the coding and allocation of invoices are correct
Ensure that invoices are paid timeously and in the most efficient manner by using the creditors age analysis to process payment runs
Performing reconciliation of payments to supplier’s

statements monthly

Follow up on outstanding invoices not received to ensure payment is made
Preparation of cheques, EFT’s as well as obtaining of signatories (cheques, EFT’s)
Deal with supplier requests, problems and complaints related to the relevant accounts
Providing remittances to suppliers after the payment has been processed
Ensure that all payment and reconciliation deadlines are
Ability to work without supervision, assist with audit preparation and supplying supporting documentation as
Keep all documents filed, as per filing system and archive files annually.
