JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the agriculture sector, based in Addo is currently looking to employ a Creditors Clerk. The candidate will work together with the marketing and freight forwarding departments to ensure the accurate capturing of local and foreign costs.

Responsibilities:

Processing/validating and importing of creditors costs onto the financial system.
Liaising with suppliers promptly to resolve queries.
Prepare processed batch for payment.
Reconciling and updating payment accurately on data base.
Forward remittances to suppliers.
Filing and ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or suitable qualification.
Must be computer literate in MS Office with an excellent knowledge of excel.
Experience in QX accounting package an advantage.
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans and well skilled in verbal and written communication.
Must be self-motivated, methodical, and able to work independently.
Able to carry out responsibilities without supervision.
Problem solving should be a forte, and attention to detail.
Must have exceptional planning and organizing skills.
Able to work under pressure.
