Creditors Clerk

Our client in the agriculture sector, based in Addo is currently looking to employ a Creditors Clerk. The candidate will work together with the marketing and freight forwarding departments to ensure the accurate capturing of local and foreign costs.

Responsibilities:

• Processing/validating and importing of creditors costs onto the financial system.
• Liaising with suppliers promptly to resolve queries.
• Prepare processed batch for payment.
• Reconciling and updating payment accurately on data base.
• Forward remittances to suppliers.
• Filing and ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or suitable qualification.
• Must be computer literate in MS Office with an excellent knowledge of excel.
• Experience in QX accounting package an advantage.
• Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans and well skilled in verbal and written communication.
• Must be self-motivated, methodical, and able to work independently.
• Able to carry out responsibilities without supervision.
• Problem solving should be a forte, and attention to detail.
• Must have exceptional planning and organizing skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
