Creditors Clerk

Our client is in search of a Creditors Clerk to manage the accounts of multiple branches and facilities located nationwide.

The candidate will be required to have a valid drivers license, reliable own transportation and be able to travel to Modderfontein until end of August 2022, and will be based in the Pyramid area (apx 20km north of Zambesi Drive, Pretoria) from September 2022.

The successful incumbent will manage numerous creditors accounts on a daily basis. Proficiency in Excel and Sage Evolution is required. This position requires a candidate that is bi-lingual and fully fluent in English and Afrikaans, with behavioural competencies in organisation, accuracy, skilled time management and timeous communication. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Daily processing of Bank Statements, allocations of payments to Supplier Accounts and remittance of payments against invoices
• Processing of supplier invoices and credit notes
• Assist Business Managers with supplier accounts related queries
• Assist suppliers with account queries as well as opening of accounts
• Petty Cash management
• Daily Payment batches
• Payment Reconciliations
• Transfers between investment accounts
• Management of accounts trading in excess of credit limits
• COD suppliers statements
• Supplier Age Analysis and communication
• Bank, Petty Cash and Credit Card Reconciliations
• Managing supplier discounts
• Supplier Accounts reconciliations and monthly statements with age analysis
• Accurate and Organised filing of Journals, Petty Cash files and Bank Statements
