SUMMARY:
Creditors Clerk

POSITION INFO:

Main responsibilities

Being the Creditors/Payments function, including but not limited to:

o Matching of purchase order, GRN and Invoice and resolving/investigating differences.

o Processing of monthly invoices on SYSPRO and reconciliation of creditor accounts

o Monitoring, matching and clearing of purchase liability (goods received invoice not received or not matching)

o Preparation of month-end cash flow forecast and monitoring of cash resources.

o Payment processing and follow ups

o Follow up and management of credits (refunds) due.

o Verification of new suppliers, banking details supplier credit applications

o Account query resolution through engagement with business and suppliers.

o Maintenance of creditors accounts & database.

o Secondary functions:

Asset controller (transaction processing, supervised) i.e. classification and posting of assets purchased according to company guidelines.

New supplier onboarding

BEE donations, procurement & certificates administration

Monitoring of BEE procurement status against annual targets.

Insurance claims administration

Ad hoc duties as requested by management

o 3 to 5 years related experience in full creditors function
o SYSPRO proficiency -Not negotiable
o Matric certificate with a sound understanding of basic accounting principles.
o Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Excel
o Attention to detail and accuracy
o Good communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
