SUMMARY:
Umhlanga. Established Asset Management company seeks Creditors Clerk with Bookkeeping / Accounting Diploma, MS Excel, and excellent reconciliation skills to join their Finance team. Property and MDA experience is an advantage.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Process around 250 payments monthly
Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes / job cards with reference to quantities, quality, description, price etc.
Assign correct GL account and vendor account is utilised
Post Accounts Payable batches daily
reconciliations on all creditor payments and accruals listing
Payment of invoices, ensuring discount claimed where applicable
Follow up on all AP queries
Forward remittance advices and proof of payments to suppliers
Prepare monthly analysis of the creditors list
Maintain vendor master listing
Assist in reports by maintaining and providing analytical reviews on payments and costs
Ensure that payments are captured to correct supplier, for the correct amount, and coded to the correct transaction code
Ensure correct and accurate GL allocations
Ensure that the batches / are accurately captured (documents agree to audit trial) before handing over for checking, posting and approval for payment
Check that supplier statements are received and request if not received
Ensure that outstanding invoices on supplier statements are requested
Ensure that all payment documentation is correctly coded and sent to be filed
Assist with weekly and monthly cash forecast for payments required

Requirements:

Bookkeeping / Accounting Diploma or equivalent
MS Excel ability
Property and MDA experience preferred
