SUMMARY:
A leading food manufacturing and distribution company in Hammarsdale is seeking a detail-oriented, deadline-driven Creditors Clerk. This permanent role involves managing accounts payable, processing and reconciling supplier invoices, handling queries, and preparing month-end reports. The ideal candidate will work with high volumes while maintaining accuracy.

POSITION INFO:
Job Function

The Creditors Clerk function is to manage accounts payable, ensuring creditors are timeously and accurately paid, invoices processed and accounts reconciled to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

Full creditors function: capturing and processing invoices and credit notes
Matching supplier invoices to orders and PODs
Reconciling supplier accounts and statements
Preparing month-end and year-end creditors reports
Sending remittance advices and handling supplier queries
Filing and maintaining creditors documentation
Completing supplier credit applications and ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

Matric required; tertiary qualification in accounting advantageous
Minimum 3 years’ experience in creditors / a similar creditors environment
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or general ERP systems (training can be provided)
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and communication skills
Candidates must reside nearby or be willing to commute daily
