SUMMARY:
Well known FMCG Company has a vacancy for a Creditors Clerk who will manage and assist to maintain accurate creditors list, ensure payments are made by obtaining appropriate authorization, process creditors, invoices on system for month end and other adhoc accounting duties. POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Creditor recons & ledgers.
Capturing invoices due for month end payment.
Monitoring of GRN’s.
Preparation of all creditors recons.
Creditors recons to balance creditors ledger to creditors statement.
Creditors payment run to be prepared and released at month end.
Reconciling items to be resolved within 30 days and removed from reconciliations.
Look to maximize settlement discounts.
Ensure invoices captured daily and in the correct month of purchase.
Ensure that outstanding GRN's report is monitored and invoices matched timeously.
Invalid GRN's are signed by the Accountant prior to reversal.
Onboarding of new vendors.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
