POSITION INFO:

My client is looking for an experienced Creditors Assistant to join their growing Shared Services team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working collaboratively, and has a strong background in accounts payable.

As a Creditors Assistant you will responsible for the following:

Accurately capture and process supplier invoices
Reconcile supplier accounts and prepare payment schedules
Maintain and update the supplier payment schedule, ensuring alignment with scheduled payments
Create and manage new supplier accounts on the financial system
Process monthly expenses and resolve internal and external queries
Assist in month-end procedures, including requesting outstanding invoices and statements
Confirm supplier banking details in accordance with company procedures
Review the Accounts Payable Age Analysis in collaboration with the Creditors Manager
Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Support the finance team with additional duties as required

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)
Studying toward a BCom degree or similar qualification (advantageous)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar creditors/accounts payable role
Experience in a Shared Services environment is advantageous
Proficiency in MS Excel (basic level)
