Seeking a Credit Underwriting Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Are you a dynamic credit professional with a passion for strategic risk management and cross-border finance? A unique opportunity has opened up for an experienced Credit Underwriting Manager to join a forward-thinking team operating at the heart of global trade.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of credit risk evaluations across a diverse portfolio of counter-parties in international markets. Your expertise will support structured trade, commodity, and export finance transactions, ensuring sound credit decisions that align with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for new and existing counter-parties.
Collaborate with commercial, legal, and finance teams to structure robust transactions.
Develop and present detailed credit proposals for senior risk and business committees.
Monitor credit exposures, proactively identifying and mitigating emerging risks.
Maintain a deep understanding of market conditions, industry trends, and geopolitical developments that may impact credit risk.

What We’re Looking For:

A Degree in finance, economics, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CFA, and FRM) is advantageous.
Substantial experience in credit underwriting or credit risk analysis, particularly within the trade or commodities sector.
A track record of working on complex financing structures and cross-border deals.
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to present clear, well-reasoned recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
