You’ll work in a hybrid setup (3 days in the office), have the chance to mentor Junior Analysts, and be at the centre of high-impact projects that influence business strategy across multiple industries, including banking, telecoms, fintech, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and review application scorecards, including reject inference models.
• Lead feature engineering initiatives to boost model performance and business impact.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align scoring strategy with commercial objectives.
• Mentor and upskill Junior Analysts and Data Scientists, building a strong internal capability.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
• Continuously improve scoring methodologies with advanced techniques.

• Education: BSc/BCom in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or a BEng.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in application scoring, scorecard development, reject inference, and model validation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAS (non-negotiable); Paragon Modeler experience advantageous.
• Industry Exposure: Multi-industry experience is a plus (retail, telecoms, fintech, and insurance).
• Ability to work with limited data, build robust models, and deliver actionable outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership/mentorship ability.
