Job Description

Key Competencies & requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric
Diploma in Bookkeeping or other Finance related qualification
2 to 3 years related work experience
Experience on the Syspro system
Administration and report writing experience
Sound business and financial acumen
Analysis Skills & Attention to detail
Computer literate with the following, but not limited hereto: Microsoft package
Ability to successfully manage tight deadlines and multitask
Excellent communication and listening skills
Professional appearance and grooming are essential

Key Functions of Role:

Control customer accounts in terms of:
Responsible for changing credit limits on the system
Distribute debtor’s statements
Control cash accounts
Block / unblock / open accounts on the system (including new accounts)
Process transactions
Liaise with customer with regards to payments and queries
Responsible for forecasting cash collections
Notify the Financial Manager of any concerns that may arise
Responsible for day-to-day processing of their respective area

Opening accounts
Monitoring credit granted
Chasing and allocating payment
Resolving queries on accounts
