SUMMARY:
A leading multinational organisation within the retail industry is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and driven individual with strong reconciliation, collections, and account management experience within a high-volume environment.

Financial qualification

Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Credit Controller position
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Experience working on Oracle
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)

Job Description:

Manage credit applications
Perform month-end reporting
Upload daily customer receipts into Oracle as received from the Accountant or Financial Supervisor
Manage dealer accounts
Ensure all journal entries are accurately calculated and authorised prior to processing
Follow up on credits taken by dealers and investigate discrepancies where credits have not yet been allocated
Ensure outstanding payments from dealer accounts are collected timeously and professionally
Verify that payments align with supporting documentation before releasing pending orders
Allocate receipts and reconcile customer accounts
Issue valid credit notes
Send customer statements
Respond to internal and external customer queries efficiently
