POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
A well-established organisation is seeking a Credit Controller to join its Head Office Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key debtor accounts, maintaining strong credit control processes, and supporting financial operations to ensure efficient cash flow and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the collection and administration of strategic and developing dealer debtor accounts
Maintain strict control over allocations and clearing of customer payments
Ensure timely distribution of statements and invoices
Manage the sales order release process and facilitate effective internal communication
Resolve customer queries efficiently while delivering high levels of customer service
Proactively identify potential risks or issues before they arise
Report regularly to management on the status of the debtor book
Conduct credit reviews and risk assessments on key customer accounts
Maintain customer master data and manage credit limits
Provide support during SAP S/4 migration activities
Assist with banking and treasury-related functions
Support internal and external audit processes related to debtor accounts
Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation and company policies
Perform periodic and ad-hoc finance reporting and duties
Provide support to the National Debtors & Treasury Supervisor

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Matric
Credit Management and Basic Bookkeeping qualifications will be advantageous
3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
SAP system experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency
