Minimum Requirements:

ACMA/CGMA qualification (essential)
Proven experience in Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, or Cost & Commercial Finance environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, engineering, mining, logistics, or production environments advantageous
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Syspro, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar

Key Cost Accounting Skills:
- Standard costing and cost allocation methodologies
- Product costing and bill of materials (BOM) analysis
- Inventory valuation and stock control reporting
- Variance analysis (material, labour, overheads, and production)
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning
- Margin and profitability analysis
- Manufacturing and operational cost reporting
- Cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
- KPI development and performance reporting
- Financial analysis to support operational decision-making
- Working capital management and inventory optimisation
- Business partnering with operations, production, and supply chain teams
