ð§ The Opportunity
A leading heavy-industry organisation based in Kempton Park is looking for a hands-on Cost Accountant to take ownership of costing processes and operational finance across a high-volume fleet environment. This is your chance to play a vital role behind the scenes — improving cost visibility, supporting fleet performance, and ensuring hard-earned numbers translate into real operational value. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and workshop performance — where cost accuracy matters, downtime impacts margins, and your analysis drives operational decisions.

ð ï¸ Key Responsibilities

Manage full costing processes with accuracy and accountability
Maintain accurate inventory costing and stock management
Support VAT, month-end, and operational reporting
Use ERP systems (preferably Syspro) to drive costing accuracy
Partner with operations and maintenance teams to ensure alignment

ð What You Bring

Degree in Cost Accounting or related field
3–5 years’ costing experience (fleet or heavy industry ideal)
Experience across VAT, costing, and operational financial control
Solid ERP skills (Syspro advantageous)
