POSITION INFO:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
Grade 12
Trade Certificate in Packaging Manufacturing Machine Minder is essential. (Corrugator Operator)
Minimum Supervisor course NQF 4
Proficient in Office Suite Products
Proven track record in a leadership position of 5 years with managing a minimum of 20 employees
Written Safe Working Procedures - pass mark must be achieved.
A valid certificate for Accident & Incident investigation.
Emergency Evacuation Co- Ordinator Training
Previous experience in corrugated production management beneficial

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task effectively, and must be deadline-driven;
Must have good planning and organizing skills.
Experience in managing teams

Ability to work under pressure, independently, and long hours when needed
Maintain production standards within the prescribed targets.

Supervise and Control Manpower
Maintain production standards within the prescribed targets with minimum waste percentages in production
Identify training and development needs
Housekeeping standards are kept at high standard
Maintain customer delivery deadlines
Maintain proper communication and interaction with departments running the corrugator
Maintain Health & Safety standards at all times
Maintain administrative functions at all times
Institute disciplinary actions where required
Attend relevant meetings representing the production department
