Corporate Underwriter

Corporate Underwriter with minimum 5 years’ relevant corporate underwriting experience, preferably in a Broker environment dealing with underwriting for large commercial/corporate clients, required for a Financial Service Provider based in Bedfordview.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• RE5 essential
• FAIS compliance
• Minimum 5 years’ Corporate Underwriting experience essential

Responsibilities:

• Underwriting of Corporate / Large Commercial Policies
• General enquiries re cover, product, processes, etc
• New Business
• Renewals and Endorsements
• Re-broking
• Create risk profile and analyse client’s portfolio
• Obtain quotes from Insurers
• Arrange valuations and reinsurance
• Raise premiums
• Cancellations and business retention
• Refunds
• Manage claims
