SUMMARY:
Luxury Jewellery Brand with Head Office based in Cape Town is looking for a Copywriter / Brand Storyteller.
 
The purpose of the role is to is to build a distinctive and globally relevant luxury brand through exceptional storytelling, design and content while protecting the consistency and integrity of the brand across every customer touchpoint.
 
The creative department operate as an in-house luxury brand and content engine: protecting the brand, creating distinctive work, and producing enough high-quality content to support digital, CRM, retail, PR and international growth.

Purpose of the role:
 
Build the verbal world of the brand
Website, campaigns, product stories, CRM, social, scripts, SEO/AEO content
Create a distinctive voice and transform the brand's expertise, history, collections and craftsmanship into stories people want to discover and remember.

Duties:
 
Develop and protect the brands tone of voice.
Turn technical jewellery information into compelling human stories.
Develop narratives around collections and iconic designs.
Capture brand knowledge and founder story authentically.
Write campaign, website, CRM and social content.
Develop long-form authoritative content.
Work with SEO/AEO requirements without allowing copy to feel mechanically search-optimised.
Help establish the brand as a credible digital authority on diamonds, jewellery craftsmanship and South African luxury.
 
Requirements:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
At least 2–4+ years in copywriting, journalism, or corporate storytelling working within luxury brands
Proficiency with digital publishing tools, basic SEO practices, layout or design software like Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong conceptual thinking, excellent time-management under tight deadlines, and openness to creative feedback
