Coordinator (Fashion)

SUMMARY:
Seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to fill the role of Coordinator for a supplier in the fashion industry. Must have extensive experience in both local and imports.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Once order is confirmed, following up of all lab dips, fabric qualities, fit samples etc – both local and import
• Sending of fits/ approvals
• Sending all fit samples, and emailing relevant technologist and buyer
• Chasing up the above according to turn around times
• Sending of all approvals to the
• Chase up approvals with buyers/buyers assistants
• Once fit is approved- chase up PP samples
• Once you receive PP sample, check that EVERYTHING is correct as per approvals
• Receiving of P.O from customer
• Ensure you get this timeously
• Print P.O- check delivery date, price, units, colour and size curve
• Anything incorrect on P.O ensure customer amends it correctly
• Enter P.O on torri, and P.O number on production schedule
• Fabric for testing and PP samples
• Chase these up
• Ensure ALL relevant fabric/garments/panels are arranged and sent to the lab.
• Lab reports & wash care info- ensure correct wash care is given to factory
• PP samples- ensure you receive these in bulk fabric and trims timeously.
• Shipment confirmations
• BPS samples
• Ensure BPS samples are sent on time
• Follow up that price tickets have been ordered according to packing slips.
• Do weekly updates to the fty’s
• Ensure price tickets have been ordered according to UNITS shipped
• Ensure import goods arrive and follow up deliveries
• Follow up that orders are booked in and delivered
• Follow up on BPS approval
• Do relevant seals and paperwork for auditing
• Enter ASN’s and ensure orders are diffed
• Emailing P.Os to finishing factory
• Handle all emails from China regarding delivery dates/fabric & trim approvals etc.
