SUMMARY:
A well-established and busy Clothing Supplier (local manufacture) is seeking an experienced Merchandise Coordinator to join their team, based in Kloof.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for managing all orders for relevant accounts.
Developing cads and artworks as per buyers specs and negotiating prices with printers
Briefing all new enquiries to costing clerk and negotiating prices with buyers
Finalising styles and loading on sync and updating PPOS and tasklines on sync
Communication weekly on production status of all orders with buyers and planner
Requesting all extensions or quality problems with buyers.
Ensuring lab dyes, strike offs and approval samples are submitted on time to customer.

Required Skills

Min 3 years experience in a similar role in clothing.
Relevant experience in clothing production (local manufacturing).
Excellent understanding of leadtimes and deadlines for production approvals and processes.
Experience and proficiency in using Sync.
Proficiency in Excel and ability to work well on spreadsheets.
Critical thinking to foresee problems.
Problem solving.
Strong admin skills.
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail.

Benefits: Provident Fund after 3-month probation period
Working Hours: 07h30-16h20 (Mon-Thurs) and 07h30-14h00 (Fri)
