The Coffee Shop Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of light meals, sandwiches, and snacks typically served in a coffee shop, including jaffles, chicken mayo toasties, and other simple dishes. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook light meals, sandwiches, toasties, jaffles, and similar coffee shop items according to set recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistent.
• Manage kitchen prep work, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while using kitchen equipment.
• Support the front-of-house team during busy periods when needed.

• Previous experience in a kitchen, café, or coffee shop environment preferred.
• Basic cooking skills and understanding of kitchen operations.
