Conveyancing Paralegal

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-known National firm of Attorneys, requires an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal, to work with the Attorneys, Paralegals, and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: 

• Matric / National Diploma essential.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a conveyancing environment.
• Transfer and bonds experience with FNB, Standard and Nedbank Bank essential.
• In-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions, essential.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of FICA.
• Typing speed of 45+ wpm.

• Receive instructions from various banks and attend to registration of mortgage bonds.
• Prepare various transfer, bond, and related conveyancing documents.
• Contact and liaise with municipalities, SARS, Attorneys and service providers.
• Attend to the collection of costs.
• Compile and amend documents for lodgement and registration.
• Attend to deed’s office process and bank processes to register transactions.
• Attend to all financial aspects of all transactions, including final accounts.
• Prepare debit/credit notes and other accounting queries.
