POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification: Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer in South Africa
• Notary Public qualification is a strong advantage
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years' post-admission experience in conveyancing
• Must have an established and active client base
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing and property law
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload with accuracy and attention to detail
• Client-focused, professional, and results-oriented
• Demonstrated success in business development and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Family law experience advantageous

• Manage the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions, including property transfers, bond registrations, cancellations, and related matters
• Draft, review, and process all conveyancing documentation in line with current legal and regulatory requirements
• Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, banks, and other key stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships, leveraging an existing client base to support the firm’s continued growth
• Ensure all matters are handled timeously, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards and deadlines
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, as needed
