POSITION INFO:
Join a world-class technical team in the Netherlands as a Service Technician. In this shift-based role, you’ll be responsible for keeping mission-critical building systems up and running on a large, high-tech site.
From ventilation failures to server room power issues, you'll be the calm in the storm—responding fast and fixing problems safely. This role suits hands-on individuals with an electrical or mechanical background, especially those who’ve worked in data centers, industrial plants, or high-tech facilities.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Afrikaans as a first language
Valid South African passport
30 years old or younger
Technical qualification or solid experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance
Willing and able to relocate to the Netherlands
Comfortable working shifts, including night and weekend work
Experience in high-pressure, urgent-response environments is a plus

Job Experience & Skills Required

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing technical systems
Background in high-tech, industrial, or data center environments preferred
Able to work in a Control Room, monitoring technical alarms via building management systems
Skilled in identifying and responding to system failures—power, HVAC, safety, and access systems
Familiarity with LOTO (Lock Out-Tag Out) procedures is beneficial
Willing to work a 3-shift schedule (3 mornings, 3 afternoons, 3 off), with a switch to a 5-shift pattern in future
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Able to take action during emergency situations—fire alarms, gas leaks, elevator issues
