POSITION INFO:
Our client in the logistics industry is recruiting for a Control Room Operator in Bloemfontein. Candidates who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to apply.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a logistics, transport, fleet management, or control room environment
- Computer literate (MS Office, tracking and fleet management systems)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track fleet movements using vehicle tracking systems
- Maintain constant communication with drivers and transport personnel
- Coordinate vehicle dispatching and route monitoring
- Record, investigate, and report delays, incidents, breakdowns, and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and company policies
- Monitor delivery schedules and provide updates to clients and management
- Capture and maintain accurate operational records and reports
- Escalate operational issues and assist with resolving transport-related challenges
- Monitor driver performance and adherence to schedules
- Assist with after-hours operational support when required

Remuneration:
R 12 500 CTC
